Review Minutes and Bills
Bills were reviewed and approved.  Minutes were reviewed and approved.

Whalley Park
Mike Vinsette would like to reserve fields for Southwick Summer Sizzler.  The board would like them to check the bathrooms and trash before and after their games.  Review Skip’s shed quote for 8’ x 12’ classic series Duratek cape for $2358 and 8 x 12 mini barn $2,094.  Quote is higher than the board wants to spend.  Cara we will get other quotes.  The Light Contractor is asking for location of sprinklers.  The Board said the Engineer; R. Levesque should have provided that information in the as built plans.  We will check with R. Levesque.

Rail Trail
R&R will provide a new quote for repairing the mower.  Instead of replacing the parts that are leaking they will quote patching the leaks.  The Friends Group would like to hold a bike swap at Whalley Park.  The Friends Group would like P&R to approach DPW to see what they thought about using excess funds to manage repairing segments of the rail trail that have root damage.   There are two areas in great need of being fixed.  This project is beyond the scope of the FOSRT to manage due to the multiple wires underneath and on the sides of the trail, equipment, and man power needed.  Perhaps calling other towns to see how they handle this would be an option.

New Business
Kev’s Foundation received the AED Application from P&R.  They called the office and said they request the applicants to state how they would spread awareness if granted an AED.  They would like P&R to hold an AED awareness program.  They would also like to know if they donate an AED to the Town Beach where it will be when it’s not in use during the months the beach is closed.
The Southwick Baptist Church would like to use the beach for their annual baptism.  Last year the bathrooms pipes were clogged and backed up.  They suggested they will not use the bathrooms, we can keep them locked.  P&R commission agreed to this.  They will hold their baptism at the beach on June 4, 2017.  Dave suggested having our porta poty put out for them to use.
