Cookbook Club = Mexican Food in May!

It may not be Cinco de Mayo, but on Tuesday, May22nd at 6:30 p.m. the Adult Cookbook Club will be sampling recipes made using Rick Bayless’s More Mexican Everyday. Copies of this month’s cookbook will be available at the library’s Circulation Desk. When you check-out the cookbook, please make sure your name is added to our list of people attending. Instructions for advising the library of which recipe you want to bring will be given to you when you checkout the cookbook.

Each participant is asked to pick a recipe from the chosen book; to make one regular sized recipe, so each member gets a taste; to respond by email each month with your first & second recipe choice to be made; to prepare the recipe at home; and to join in the session at which the participants will discuss the recipes while enjoying the food the others made.

Registration is required. Please contact the library at 413-569-1221 or email southwicklibrary @comcast.net or sign-up in person at the Circulation Desk when visiting the library.  Please be advised: Neither the food served at cookbook club, and prepared in home kitchens, nor the facilities have been inspected by the state or the local public health agency.
