Southwick Public Library Calendar

1. Pick up a Bingo card at the Southwick Public Library or print one off any time between 12/28 and 1/30.

2. Read books and when you notice one of the themes on the Bingo card mentioned in your book mark it down. 

Winter is a cozy time to read- why not curl up with a good book? Each hour read earns you a raffle ticket to a prize. Simply submit your reading hours any time between 12/13-1/3 using the Google Form posted. All prizes will be raffled off on January 4.

Relax and chat with friends, listen to music and have a snack. All materials provided, drop in after school.

Lego Club will now meet every month until June. Each session will start with a new challenge and then some time to free build.  Legos are provided, just bring your imagination!

 All are welcome to join. We will have coloring books and supplies, but you are also welcome to bring whatever craft project you're working on. This event will be held in person at the library.

The Library offers Ancestry Library Edition to use in the library for free.

Have you ever wondered what you can discover with Ancestry? Take a tour through some of the resources Ancestry offers and learn how to begin or continue your family history research.

Explore high- demand careers with shorter paths to a real paycheck. Learn about apprenticeships and different types of trades. This in- person program is presented by Eric White of Westover Job Corps.

Coding For Kids (grades 2-5)    1/20 @4pm

Children in grades 2-5 will enjoy some “unplugged” coding based activities.

We will experience algorithms, sequence, and debugging through hands on activities and play.

Drop in anytime on 1/22 between 10:30am and 12pm to make your own pinecone bird feeder to help keep our feathered friends fed through the winter. You can even make one to hang on a library tree branch if you'd like!

Make your own indoor "snowball" shooter with just a few simple steps.

Pick up materials in the front entrance on 1/24 and 1/25 while supplies last.
