Drop by any time during open hours to drop off items for our collection for the Southwick Animal Shelter.

Do you have what it takes to be a superhero? Test your strength, skills, and smarts by cracking codes and solving puzzles to save the day! Starting on April 26th, this virtual escape room will be available on our website in the Children’s Virtual Library and on our Facebook page.

This Zoom group will be offered in a 4 week series for caregivers and children to engage in, who are entering Kindergarten in the fall. Curriculum will include letters, numbers, shapes and self portraits.

Now in Person!

Join Animal Adventures and meet a selection of their animals! It will be a surprise to see which animals are featured! Meet the animals and see them up close, hear stories, and learn all about them.

Take and Make Tangram kits will be available for K-6 in the entryway the week of August 9th. There will be a limited number of kits and they will be first come first served. Tangrams are a great way to explore shapes and color matching with younger children.

Back by popular demand! We are offering a session of the metalsmithing class with Heather Beck for adults!

August's book is "The Exiles" by Christina Baker Kline. Copies will be available for checkout at the library. Please call ahead to reserve a copy.

Story Time returns in person with Rylee August 12 from 10:30am-11:00am. For ages 1-3 and their caregivers. Come enjoy 30 minutes of books, songs, and fingerplays!

Maker Space! From August 16-27 in the children’s room there will be a “community” craft set up. Drop in and leave your mark. The finished piece will be shared on our Facebook page or you can come see it in person on display. Open to All Ages.

Pick up this fun, easy craft the week of August 16– 20.  First come, first serve, supplies are limited.

Sun catcher Craft (in person) August 16th at 11am. For grades K-5. Create a colorful sun catcher inspired by different animal faces using paper. All materials provided. Will you make a bashful bear? A colorful cat? Or a playful puppy? Sign up Required.

Color and Chat is back (and it's now Craft and Chat). This program will be held in person. All are welcome to join. We will have supplies for coloring, but you're welcome to bring in any craft project you're working on.

August's cookbook is Christopher Kimball's Milk Street: Tuesday Nights. Copies will be available late July for checkout. Each participant is asked to make one regular sized recipe so everyone can taste.

Learn about multicultural origins of Henna, and practice this unique art form on cookies using a chocolate-hazelnut spread. Paisley Peacock is here to teach this fun workshop. August 25 at 1:30.  All materials provided, sign up HERE.
