1. Mike D. made a motion to accept the minutes from the April 27, 2017 meeting with a minor correction.  Scotty seconded, all were in favor and the motion passed.

2. LPP – Con Com has also adopted the LPP Variance Policy.

3. Algae – There is not much algae in North Pond at this time but there is more in the others.  The clarity is terrible!  Per Ken and Eric, the diatoms will die off, which will help but it is quite likely we will eventually have an algae bloom.  We need to watch closely and be ready, as we were last time, to treat it if necessary.  It is important to stay a step ahead.

4. Buoys – The ice moved around several moorings over the winter and accordingly, the channel buoys at the sand bar need to be adjusted some as do the ones between Middle and South Ponds.

5. Alum Treatment – Dick spoke with Senator Humason's office and they are trying to get this project fully funded for FY2018

6. Lake Monitoring Equipment – Eric received quotes from both YSI and Hach on an advanced water quality sensor.  He has included the quotes and his emails with the companies in our packets.  The equipment he is looking at will cost between $8,000 - $11,000.  The equipment will facilitate the daily testing that is being done by volunteers Rick and Eric, automatically record the data, including water depth of each data point, so it can be directly downloaded.  Hach was willing to take some of our older equipment as a trade on the newer items, bringing the cost down quite a bit...  $10,300 without trade vs. $8,000 with the trade. Mike C. made a motion that we try to purchase this equipment pending approval from the town.  Mike D. seconded and all were in favor.

7. Eric made a motion to adjourn and Mike C. seconded.  All were in favor.  Our meeting was adjourned at 7:55m.

8. Our next scheduled meeting will be held on May 25, 2017.

Respectfully submitted,
