1. Malcolm made a motion to accept the minutes from the March 23, 2017 meeting as written.  Mike D.  seconded.  All were in favor and the motion passed.

2. Lake Level – Current reading is 224.95’.  The lake level  currently is up due to extensive rainfall but not too high.  Committee members have been getting complaints and questions about why we haven’t closed the lake or at the very least made it a no wake zone.  The written approved rule is NO WAKE rising if above 225.2’, NO BOATING rising if above 225.4’, NO BOATING falling if at/above 225.0’, NO WAKE falling if at/above 224.8’.  Nominal lake level 224.4' MSL.

3. Mike made a motion stating that anyone coming in front of our committee with an issue must send in any and all paperwork two meeting cycles ahead.  Deb seconded the motion and all were in favor.  This will allow us to go over materials and be prepared to speak with the resident.  Dick will draft a policy reflecting this input for review at the next meeting.

4. Docks – (1) 129 North Lake Ave:  They still need to send in all their paperwork before returning to meet with LMC.  (2) 9 Lakeview:  nothing new.  (3) 86 Pt. Grove Rd.:  It is still unclear as to what is happening with the docks at this location.  We have conflicting information.  Some say they are filing for Chapter 91 and leaving their docks as is.  Other reports have us believing they are replacing the existing docks with aluminum ones.  Con Com is sending the owners a letter.

5. Local residents, CRC Members, and our own Committee Members have all reported seeing an ad in the local Pennysaver.  This ad was taken out by a non-resident property owner with rental property on Congamond and he/she was advertising Dock Space for the season.  "Commercial Use" of residential dock space violates Chapter 91 and the LPP.  The ad has since been removed.  We appreciate people stepping up and reporting this activity.

6. DPW - Thank you DPW for clearing out the debris in front of the canal weir gates and doing such an incredible job!  Very Impressive!!

7. 166 Berkshire Ave – For many many years there have been multiple docks, floats and barrels associated with this property.  The homeowners are having them removed. Thank you!

8. Installing Docks – Dick, Mike, Steve, Malcolm, Ray, Mike Petris and Kris Anderson were out in the cold Saturday, April 15th putting in the Docks, at the North Boat Ramp.  Thanks guys!

9. Money – We have lake monitoring funding to spend before end of FY2017.  Deb suggested a camera at the canal.  We all think this is a good idea, but now we need to brainstorm on ways to keep it from being vandalized.

10. Malcolm made a motion to adjourn and Ken seconded.  All were in favor.  The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 pm.

11. Our next scheduled meeting will be held on April 27, 2017.

Respectfully submitted,
