Finance Committee Meeting Minutes

 

                

The Finance Committee was called to order at 6:00 p.m.

The next Finance Committee meeting will be held January 9, 2017 at 6:00 p.m.

A MOTION was made by R. Horacek, seconded by T. Mish (Vote: Unanimous.) to approve the minutes as amended of October 17, 2016.

D. Deidelori, Commissioner spoke before the Finance Committee to use the remainder of the funds from the well project. The amount needed is $5,500.00 this would be used for shop lights, outlets, bathroom heaters to prevent pipes from freezing.

A MOTION was made by A. Pinell, seconded by R. Horacek (Vote: Unanimous.) to approve funds from the well project to pay A-1 Electrical for electrical work.

Article 1. A. Pinell discussed with the Finance Committee the dry sewer line, costs, construction and the impact on the town residents. After discussion the Finance Committee made A MOTION was made by D. Condron, seconded by R. Horacek (Vote: Yes:1; No:6) to recommend Article 1. Motion failed the Finance Committee has no recommendation.

Article 2. A MOTION was made by D. Condron, seconded by R. Horacek (Vote: Unanimous) to recommend Article 2.

Article 3. A MOTION was made by R. Horacek, seconded by T. Mish (Vote: Unanimous) to recommend Article 3.

Article 6.  A MOTION was made by R. Horacek, seconded by T. Mish (Vote: Unanimous) to recommend Article 6.

R. Buley and R. Horacek will be attending the 2017 MMA Conference.

Discussion of the feasibility study regarding the Granville Village School A MOTION was made by R. Horacek, seconded by T. Mish (Vote: Unanimous) to support the closing of the Granville Village School based on extraordinary circumstances in this school year. R. Solek, Secretary will write and send memo the STGRSD School Committee..

There were no public comments.

A MOTION was made by T. Mish, seconded by R. Horacek (Vote: Unanimous) to adjourn at 7:30 p.m.
