COA Meeting Minutes

MEETING CALLLED TO ORDER 10:00am
Presiding: Mary Jane Connolly
Present: Joan Plancon, Roy Benson, Harriet Fischer, Mary Alice Martin, Associate members: Carol Laughlin, Paula LeBlanc, Donna Charron, and Director Cindy Sullivan.
Absent: Rebecca Perron and Herb Pace

Bills: moved to vote on
New Business:
- COA Director Evaluation - Cindy handed out her 6 month progress report submitted in February. Annual evaluation is due in August. Mary Jane is going to talk to Becca about completing this document. They will come up with goals for the upcoming year.
- Barbeque - August 31, 2016 - hot dogs and Hamburgers, $3.00 per person.
- September classes - three types of Tai Chi Classes being offered, Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced.
Updates:
- Classes - first five classes will be free this year
- Transportation - going well
- Dining Center - monthly raffle is well accepted
- Brown Bag - fine
- Finances - good
Old Business:
- Luau - sixty people attended, great entertainment
- Joan made motion to have future meetings at 10:00am, the second Monday of the month. Harriet moved to accept, approved by all.
- August meeting will be on the 1st at 10:00am,Cindy goes on vacation August 5, 2016.
- Sarah Gillett has approved $170.00 for a workshop on laughter.
Motion to adjourn - Harriet moved, Mary Jane second, approved by all.
