COA Meeting Minutes

MEETING CALLLED TO ORDER 1:00pm
 
Presiding: Roy Benson
 
Present:  Joan Plancon, Herb Pace, Mary Jane Connolly, Harriet Fischer, Rebecca Perron, Associate members: Paula LeBlanc, Donna Charron, and Director Cindy Sullivan.
 
Absent:   Mary Alice Martin and Associate member Carol Laughlin
 
Minutes: reviewed, Joan moved to accept, Harriet second, approved by all.
 
Bills: reviewed, Harriet moved to accept, Roy second, approved by all.
 
New Business:
 
Update from Director:
 
  • Southwick Days Parade - no vote to have van load of seniors in parade.
  • Luau - July 6, 2016 at 10:00am. Cost $5.00 per person.
  • Shine - Andrea will see clients Thursdays from 7 to 10:00am.
     
Updates:
 
  • Classes - Line Dancing continuing through summer, rest closing in June. All will resume in September. First session may be free.
  • Transportation - a lot of trips using van
  • Dining Center - average 25 in house per day
  • Brown Bag - o.k.
  • Finances - fine
     
Old Business:
 
  • Pool Table Light - not cost effective at this time.
  • Card Table - still looking for new one
