Agricultural Commission Meeting Minutes

 

Communications Three new Community Garden registrations were received.  

Tractor Rally Southwick Historical Commission & Society, Farm Family Insurance, & WMass Tractor Pulling Association to be joining the Tractor Rally roster. Tractor Rally event space was mapped out. Music was secured for the hours of 12p-2p. Traffic Cop hours to be adjusted to 10a-2p or until necessary.

Community Garden Planning Community Garden has been tilled. Hand pump was approved for funding by the Land Management Committee. Fencing to be submitted for possible funding as well. The Boy Scouts are to start work on the community garden space on Saturday April 23^rd. Plots are to be laid out. Composting bins are to be built.

8:15 Motion to Adjourn Commissioner Clark made a motion to adjourn.  Commissioner Linnekin seconded.  Motion passed unanimously.
