We've Gone Fine Free!

Finally...some good news for 2020! 

We are excited to announce that the library is no longer charging late fines for items. If an item is lost or damaged, you may be charged for replacement costs, but if you’re a few days late returning that book you’ve been finishing, well, consider it forgiven. We want to make the library accessible to everyone in our community and not charging late fines goes a long way, especially during this tough economic time. If you still want to donate, we will have a donation box at the circulation desk and we welcome and appreciate any amount given.

We will still be charging late fines on our museum passes and Library of Things tools and appliances. If you get items through other libraries or the Commonwealth Catalog, please be aware that other libraries may still charge fines.

If your card has been blocked because of fines- we want to welcome you back to the Southwick Library! Call us to make an appointment to come in and see the great items and resources we have available! We look forward to seeing you.
