Park & Recreation Meeting Minutes

                        

The meeting was opened by Commissioner Patrick Roche at 6:30 pm. The next meeting of the Park and Recreation will January 27, 2016 at 6:30 pm.

There was no public comment.

Bills were reviewed and approved.  Minutes were reviewed and approved.  

Pat contacted Doug Johnson from the American Legion to show him the map of the water lines for wells.  A trench will need to be dug along the fence near the legion and Whalley park.  Doug does not foresee a problem but it will have to be brought up and approved at the general membership meeting.  Pat would like to get an agreement in writing in case a problem arises.  Charlie Pratt filed for the permit.  They are waiting on information from the engineer.  Discuss request from Westfield Little League to use the small baseball field.  Dave will research costs.  

MOD and MIA inspection was last week.  John Westcott will give results to P&R when he receives.   

  

No update on mowing the overgrowth along the sides of the trail.  FOSRT ordered the approved signs.  

Discussion about updates to the annual town report.

7:20 pm Jeanne Reed-Waldron motioned to adjourn the meeting; Dave DeiDolori seconded the motion. The meeting was called to a close.
