1. Malcolm made a motion to accept the minutes from the June 23, 2016 meeting with the change made in Steve's   membership status, from member to associate.  Scotty seconded the motion.  All were in favor and the motion passed.

2. Lake Level - 221.3

3. North Pond Preservation - Franklin Land Trust - We are all wondering if there is going to be a FY17 Grant available.  If there is we are all set to apply.  Looks good for us because we sit on an aquafer. There is another land preservation grant available that we can go for, that protects water sheds.

4.  S319 Grant- Dick wrote a 1 1/2 page document to Mike Knapik, our Western Mass liaison to the State House. The document is included in our packet this evening. We are trying all angles to get that $1.23 million released. Eric has offered to do a briefing.

5. CRC Boat Parade Overall this year's parade was a great success! The first half of the parade was single file and went extremely well. There were only a handful of water balloons. There were no water cannons in sight, this year. On the downside, a couple of boats were towing tubers during the parade, even through the culverts. All and all, great event and awesome attendance!

6. Long Holiday Weekend - Noticed several boats that were overloaded to the point where the pontoons were underwater. Boats traveling without lights at night! This continues to be a problem and a very dangerous one!

7. Boat Census - It is that time again! It is important to get this done before August, when many people take their boats out for vacations. Scotty volunteered to do Middle, Steve took North, and Mike D. is taking on South. Thanks guys!

8. Con Com- The Conservative Commission has got a new secretary. She made up a spreadsheet so she could see who had paid and who had not and in just one and a half weeks they took in $5,000!

9. Concerns - There is a 26 footer moored on south pond. The dock on the island that is not on the homeowner’s property. The Harbor master is aware of the boat and said he would take care of the dock situation. There was a new dock just built, out of pressure treated wood, at 129 North Lake Ave.

10. LMC Boat- We now have a Bimini top for our boat.

11. Buoys -The spars are missing off the green buoy that is supposed to be by the island. Rick brought the buoy to the north ramp for repair.

12. Park and Rec- Park and Rec have requested a no boating buoy be placed at the town beach. It is already a law that you cannot boat near a marked swim area. We all agreed placing a buoy here would be overkill.

13. Deb made a motion to adjourn and Ken seconded.  All were in favor.  Our meeting was adjourned at 7:45 pm.

14. Our next scheduled meeting will be held on July  28, 2016

Respectfully submitted,
