1. Mike DeBay made a motion to accept the minutes as written from the August 25, 2016 meeting as written Scotty seconded, all were in favor and the motion passed.

2. Bylaws –This discussion began over the wording on the bylaw concerning Class A & 1 Vessels.  Dick is concerned that the wording could be confusing and should be revisited.  This brought up Mike DeBay’s concerns that our written version of the bylaws reportedly does not match the web version.  Dick is going to provide Mike with a complete copy of the bylaws, which Mike will then compare with the readily available web version.

3. Anchoring –We are looking to see if anyone knows how other lakes have handled problems of people just anchoring wherever they want on a busy weekend afternoon.  This can be a safety hazard with people swimming where boats are not expecting them.  Scotty offered to speak to someone he knows at Crystal Lake, to see how they deal with this issue.  Someone said they have seen lakes that have designated buoys for just this purpose.

4. Noise Regulations –This is another issue that we keep revisiting, without a solution thus far.

5. Babb’s Beach – Babb’s is holding their rededication ceremony Friday 9/16/2016 at 12:30.

6. Lake Level – 224.0' MSL which is down another 1/2 inch.  Members attribute it to evaporation, infiltration and lack of rainfall.

7. Canal – Deb will bring it up at the next CRC meeting that we are in need of volunteers to help clean out the canal.

8. The End of Summer Luncheon for Town employees/volunteers will be held on September 23rd from 11 to 1.  All are welcome and encouraged to attend!

9. Scotty made a motion to adjourn and Mike DeBay seconded.  All were in favor.  Our meeting was adjourned at 7:35 pm.

10. Our next scheduled meeting will be held on September 22, 2016.

Respectfully submitted,
