Minutes of meeting held October 13, 2016, 7:00 P.M. at Town Hall College Highway, Southwick, MA, with attendance as follows:

1. Mike D. made a motion to accept the minutes from the September 22, 2016 meeting as written. Scotty seconded, all were in favor and the motion passed.
2. Lake Level - 223.75, it is down 9” from where it should be
3. Town of Southwick/Franklin Land Trust - Dick has written a letter, which we all have in our packets showing that we back and support this endeavor. Mike D. made a motion to approve the support letter with the condition that provisions be made for trash receptacles and handicapped accessible toilets. Ken seconded and all were in favor.
4. Canal Clearing - Dry Clearing; this would be the best possible time to clean out the canal! There is practically no water in it. Dick plans to speak with Con Com and Suffield DPW and hopefully we can clean out all the way down to Phelps Rd.
5. Aqua Thruster - Eric spoke with Ken about this and Ken doesn’t think this thing is even legal without filing an NOI and if it is he doesn’t think it will even work.
6. Buoys - Rick will be removing the buoys. Thanks Rick!
7. Docks - DPW will be helping us again this year with the docks. They will be modifying their tractor to do what Dick’s has been doing all these years. Dick will be texting everyone with a date and time as to when this will be happening.
8. Sampling - the turbidity is high. Eric has some tests out at the lab and he and Rick are on top of it as always.
9. Mike D. made a motion to adjourn and Mike C. seconded. All were in favor. Our meeting was adjourned at 7:35 pm.
10. Our next scheduled meeting will be held on October 27, 2016.
