1. The meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM
 
2. Steve made a motion to accept the minutes from the meeting held on July 28, 2016.  Eric seconded the motion and all were in favor of the motion passing.  
 
3. Reviewed actions from the last meetings:
  • Funding – We are still waiting to hear, but because ours is a bond we remain ever hopeful.  Unfortunately, there is still nothing new to report.
  • CPC Funding – Dick and Mike both think we should put together a report containing the estimated cost for both the design and the permit process of getting started with our dredging project.  Eric has agreed to take this on.  He would like a copy of the grant application for CPC and he plans to get input from Ken on this endeavor.
4. Actions
  • Eric is going to put together an estimate for design and permitting.
5. Our next Canal meeting is September 22, 2016.
 
6. Eric made a motion to adjourn. Mike C. seconded and all were in favor.  The meeting was adjourned at 6:50PM.
