The Ukulele Show (Outside- please sign up- see details in event description)

Listen, learn and laugh at The Ukulele Show, an educational concert and ukulele workshop on May 19 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the Southwick Public Library, 75 Feeding Hills Road. (This is an outdoor show.)

At The Ukulele Show, you’ll learn about ukuleles (history, construction, sizes and tunings) and the basics of playing them, and enjoy songs (including pop, children’s, Beatles and more) sung and played on ukuleles of various sizes and sounds. 

And if you want to play along, you can bring your own ukulele or borrow one to use at the Show. 

Dave Maloof is a teacher, musician and comedian who presents and performs ukuleles programs, educational concerts, and music/comedy shows. He has performed throughout New England – singing, and playing ukulele and piano. He also teaches ukulele and songwriting. 

To reserve a spot, email southwicklibrary@comcast.net.  This program will be outside. We ask all attendees to please social distance and wear masks. Please feel free to bring folding chairs.
