Lila by Marilynne Robinson Starts Off the Fall Sessions of the Adult Book Discussion Group

     The first fall session of the Adult Book Discussion group will meet on Wednesday, September 5th at 1:30 p.m. in the library’s Community Room. The group will be discussing the book Lila by Marilynne Robinson.  There are still copies available for purchase at the Circulation Desk for those who will be attending.  Those wishing to participate and not purchase the book may obtain a copy through interlibrary loan if Southwick’s copy is not available.

     The second session of the Adult Book Discussion Group will meet on October 3rd at 1:30 p.m.  The book will be A Piece of the World by Christina Baker Kline.  This is a powerful fictional story about the woman depicted in the famous painting “Christina’s World”.  Copies will be available at the September 5th meeting and afterwards at the Circulation Desk for those planning on purchasing the book and attending the October session.
