BOA Meeting Minutes

Attendees:  Paul Grégoire, Chris Mastroianni, David Methe and William Lis

Absent:  Thomas Stapleton

7:05 PM   Meeting opened and the Board reviewed and signed an advertising bill.  The Board also briefly reviewed a new application for 24 Veteran Street.

7:15 PM  14 Island Pond Road

Mr. Bruce Dexter, owner of 14 Island Pond Road, presented his application to the Board.

Mr. Dexter requests a front setback variance of 33 ft in order to accommodate an addition to the existing house.  The addition is required to convert a ½ bath into a full bath.  The stated hardship is that a full bath is needed in a residence even if it is only used seasonally.  Mr. and Mrs. Karanian, abutters at 12 Island Pond Road, spoke in favor of allowing the variance for Mr. Dexter.  Mr. Lis made a motion to approve a front setback variance of 33 feet and a lot size variance of 33,030 sq. ft.  Mr. Mastroianni second the motion and it passed unanimously.

7:35 PM  The Board again discussed the pending variance request for 24 Veteran Street.

7: 40 PM  Mr. Lis made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Mr. Mastroianni second, all were in favor and the meeting was closed
