Agricultural Commission Meeting Minutes

7:05 Meeting Opened Attendance No guests or public comments. Minutes Minutes for 5.4.16 were reviewed. Commissioner Choiniere made a motion to approve. Commissioner Linnekin seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. Communication Select Board requested the commission to select the top four farm parcels for preservation action. Commissioners to actively review plots for next meeting. 2016 Election Question 3 Livestock containment ballot question was discussed. Commissioner Linnekin made a motion to write a letter voicing the commission’s suggestion to not support Question 3 in the upcoming election. Commissioner Choiniere seconded the motion. Motion passed. Community Garden Fence around garden was opened to allow for rototilling. Winter rye was suggested for sowing overwinter. The well pump will need to be pulled for the winter. Beehives Commission looking to follow up on any movement of the beehives on Birchwood Ave. 8:10 Motion to Adjourn Commissioner Linnekin made a motion to adjourn. Commissioner Bober seconded.
