The scheduled meeting of the Cemetery Commission was opened at 9:00 a.m. by Chairman Roy Benson.
Routine Business -
• Payables were signed.
• The minutes were read for the meeting of December 4, 2007. The commission approved with no changes.
Old Business -
• Sharon made A MOTION seconded by Roy (vote-unanimous) to allow a DLE student to input information into the new cemetery software program. Diane informed the commission that a DLE student that is already in place at her place of business might be able to do this.
• The sign for the cemetery stating 'Enter At Own Risk' is already in place.
• The letter to Don Morris asking for all cemetery records and burial ledger will be drafted with the new changes.
New Business -
• A letter was received from Stephen Peregrin. local boy scout, asking if there is a need to perform cemetery work on a volunteer basis in order for him to earn a badge. Bud will contact him.
• The next meeting will be March 4, 2008.
No other business. The meeting was adjourned at 9:40 a.m.
