Guest(s):  Paul Murphy of 80 Point Grove Rd

1. Mike D made a motion to accept the minutes from the June 8, 2017 with the following change: Guests: None.   Eric M. seconded.  All were in favor and the motion passed.

2. Ramp Attendants – Laura DeGray's paperwork was signed.

3. LPP - Update
a. 86 Point Grove Rd - Drawing provided by RLA does not show waterfront where docks have been installed as required by Con Com.  Con Com requested new drawing showing docks and work on waterfront.
b. 129 North Lake Ave - Chapter 91 license for 1st dock is no longer in force due to major changes to structure.  Also, dock does not appear to be 25' from property line. 2nd and 3rd docks cannot be permitted by LPP due to three exceeding 600 sq ft and not being in front of owner's property.  Con Com is sending letter to owners.
c. Turtle Cove Docks - Owner retrieved the docks from private land on South Pond and has them corralled in the cove for disposal by owner.
d. 70 Sunset Dr - Dock is at least 120' long plus there is lift on the end.  Rick spoke with owner's son about 75' limit and was "blown off" by same.  Con Com needs to send letter to owner regarding "Variance Application" or else remove part beyond 75 feet.

4. Water Monitoring  – Dick advised that the new probe has been ordered and shipped.

5. Alum Treatment - Notification process used in the past may be used for the alum NOI.  Dick is still working with State legislators for funding (1) alum treatment & (2) dredging the Canal and shallow areas in Congamond.

6. North Pond PWC Prohibition - Original 6/21 meeting with State/Local Officials on PWC prohibition in North Pond has been rescheduled to 6/28 due to unavailability of a key State Official.  In response to Director McGinn's letter, PWC Prohibited in North Pond sign was uncovered by SPD but no enforcement to date.   LMC members are extremely upset by lack of local enforcement of the prohibition.  Con Com voted to not issue any boat or lift permits for PWCs in North Pond at its 6/19/2017 meeting.  Guest Paul Murphy explained that he obtained signatures from 90% of North Pond residents regarding restoring the PWC prohibition that has been in place and enforced by Environmental and Local Police for the last 4 decades.  Paul along with Mike Smith have contacted Senator Humason regarding restoration of the 4-decade old MGL Chapter 90B Section 9A PWC prohibition on Great Ponds less than 75 acres.

7. Water Golf - This Saturday, Con Com will be checking out the "Water Golf" at Louis B's that apparently started a few weeks ago.  The concern are safety and possible pollution of the water.

8. Member Renewal Forms - All present completed the required forms.  Dick will contact Steve regarding completing his form.

9. Boat Census - Need volunteers for each pond
a. South Pond - Mike C & Mike D
b. Middle Pond - Deb H & Scotty G
c. North Pond - Steve S (Dick will ask Steve if he will do it again this year)

10. Letter regarding increasing launch fees to "Non-Residents" and speed limit on Berkshire Avenue - see Dick's response to Select Board.

11. CRC Boat Parade - Saturday 7/1 gather at Babb's Beach at 5:00 PM for a 6:00 PM start; Patriotic Theme (see attached announcement).  CRC will stress NO PASSING, try to stay together and to complete the entire loop as many residents have been disappointed by parade not making it to many parts of Middle Pond.

12. Scotty made a motion to adjourn and Mike seconded.  All were in favor.  The meeting was adjourned at 7:40 pm.

13. The next scheduled meeting will be held on July 13, 2017.

Respectfully submitted,
