The Select Board and Finance Committee met at 6:00 p.m. to review FY 18 Budget line items and to discuss potential Special and Annual Town Meeting Warrant Articles.
Chief Ricardi briefly discussed his tuition line item. Chief Anderson discussed the SCBA units and a possible Reserve Fund Transfer in the amount of $7,300.00.
The Select Board and FinCom reviewed the Budget line items and were in agreement. The Finance Committee suggested increasing the Cultural Council budget to $2,400,00 which the Select Board agreed.
Other notes:
- No storm water funding
- Lions Club will be donating a flag pole Cemetery is still researching a mower
- Water line borrowing schedule
- Establishing a Cable Fund is a new requirement
- The tax rate will be in the low $18.00 dollar range
- The town is under the levy limit and it was suggested to consider using some of the money for road projects or other uses
The Select Board discussed potential STM and ATM Warrant Articles.
