The regularly scheduled May 26, 2008, meeting was opened at 6:30PM by Chairman, Kelly Magni.
Bills were signed and previous meeting minutes accepted.
Judy called Sgt. Cross to request that the police dive team check out the swimming area at the beach for any glass, etc. and to place the buoys in the water.
The Commissioners interviewed one lifeguard and two supervisor/directors for the beach.
In recent weeks, it has been brought to Judy and some of the Commissioners attention that the P&R phone is not being answered by the B&G club. The wrong information is being given out and P&R will request that B&G club get their own phone number in Sept.
The Commissioners agreed that a brochure be made up and distributed to business’s in town regarding the activities at the beach.
The walk way at the beach needs repair or replacement. Judy will call Pallota Bros. to get a quote.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:30pm.
