The re-scheduled May 21 2008, meeting was opened at 6:30PM by Chairman, Kelly Magni.
Bills were signed and previous meeting minutes accepted.
The Boys & Girls club has requested to use the beach for a charity swim-athon. No date has been set. They will supply their own lifeguards and supervisors.
Kelly will put up the baby swings this weekend.
The Commissioners had further discussion for the town beach. There will be an orientation for lifeguards and supervisors on Monday 6/23. This will be clean-up day at the beach also. Michelle Ackerman will handle lessons on food handling. The beach will open for the 2008 summer season on Thursday 6/26.
Wilderness Experience used the beach facilities for a kayak demonstration. Approximately 75 people attended this.
Three lifeguards from the 2007 season were interviewed and rehired.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:30pm.
