7:00 PM: Meeting opened to conduct general business, accept meeting minutes of 09/26/2011, review mail and sign invoices.
7:15 198 College Highway - Pride Station
Mr. Grégoire read the hearing notice and a letter submitted by Sgt. Kirk Sanders, Safety Officer, expressing his agreement with proposed plan.
Lynn Pulaski, Representative for Pride, presented the plan to the Board.
Ms. Bernath questioned the increase in store size from original plan and was advised that the store is trying to meet the needs of the customers.
Mr. Grégoire felt the space between islands is excessive and feels and escape lane for vehicles is unsafe.
Mr. Moglin and Mr. Utzinger were in attendance from the Planning Board. Mr. Moglin explained that the new parking space by-law would be a concern due to the setback on sides and the pre-existing, non-conforming nature of the property.
Mr. Methe suggested re-applying with proper setbacks based on the need for a 75 foot setback. The hardship was questioned and Mr. Methe suggested we address the issue when Mr. Bolduc returns.
Postponed to November 15th.
New Business
Application submitted to reduce buffer between businesses on Hudson Drive and Shaker Road.
8:45 PM: Mr. Lis made a motion to close the meeting, Mr. Methe second and all were in favor; meeting was closed.
