On July 24, 2009, the US Department of Health and Human Services issued a declaration that a public health emergency exists. The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has been working with the CDC to increase surveillance activities for possible cases in the Commonwealth. In conjunction with these initiatizes, the Town of Southwick is providing its citizens a list of links to increase the awareness of the H1N1 Flu.
