SEWER IMPLEMENTATION COMMITTEE
March 9, 2010
OPENING: The special meeting of the Sewer Implementation Committee opened at 7:00 p.m. The following members were in attendance:

Jerry Patria
Brian Pranka
MINUTES
Mr. Patria made a motion to accept the minutes of 2/9/10. Mr. Pranka seconded the motion ans the vote of the Committee was unanimous in favor.
DISCUSSION
The Committee received a copy of a letter from John F. Kerry, United States Senator, to Mr. Jay Healy in support of the Town of Southwick’s Phase II sewer project.
The Committee received an email from Mr. Michalski of fundable lists for DEP SRF low interest loans for water and wastewater projects. Mr. Michalski noted that the parallel interceptor was on the 2010 fundable list. The Committee members also questioned if any stimulus funds from the Federal or State governments will be available.
Mr. Pranka made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:45 p.m. Mr. Patria seconded the motion and the vote of the Committee was unanimous in favor.
