SEWER IMPLEMENTATION COMMITTEE
January 13, 2010
OPENING: The special meeting of the Sewer Implementation Committee opened at 7:00 p.m. The following members were in attendance:

ATTENDANCE
Mrs. Mary Grady, 36 Sam West Road, attended the meeting to discuss the Betterment Assessment on her property. The parcel in question is a section of Sam West Road that had been divided from the originally assessed value of 1.25 EDU’s for a potential industrial business. The now subdivided portion owned by Mrs. Grady does have its own septic system, and does not border the public sewer line. A letter will be issued to the Assessor’s office and the Board of Selectmen stating the findings of the SIC.
DISCUSSION
Freda Brown attended a Board of Selectmen’s meeting on December 21st, 2009. According to Ms. Brown, the discussion concerned filing for funding for both the interceptor line and expansion. Mr. Pinell was reluctant to submit an application at this time, thus there was no vote called.
The committee members received the Mandatory Education training information for all public employees.
