Meeting Minutes
Tuesday, March 11,2008
Present: Nancy Stenberg, Michael McMahon, Nancy Zdun, Anne Murray (Director), Carol Geryk

Michael McMahon called the regular meeting of the Southwick Public Library Board of Trustees to order at 7:16 PM on March 11, 2008 in the Community Room.
A. Public Comment
No public comment.
B. Communications
Anne has submitted the paperwork for the Shurtleff Children’s Services and Sarah Gillete Services for the Elderly grants.
Anne requested $2,340.00 from the Friends of the Library. The Friends have approved $2,040.00.
Anne’s evaluation is due.
There will be a Library Legislator day on April 4th at the Holyoke Public Library.
C. Acceptance of minutes
A motion to accept the minutes of Feb 11, 2008 with minor changes was made by Nancy Stenberg. Carol Geryk seconded the motion and the minutes were accepted.

E. Old Business
The job descriptions where approved with minor changes.
F. New Business
National Library Week is April 13-19. The library will be distributing a survey to the patrons to ask about the patron’s usage of the library, as well as additional wants and needs.
Summer Workshops were discussed. Mike and Nancy Stenberg will present workshops in May. Nancy Zdun will present a workshop in June.
G. Adjournment:
Meeting was adjourned at 7:53 PM. The next Board meeting will be at 7:00 PM on Tues, April 8, 2008 in the Library’s Community Room.
