1.  Tom made a motion to accept the minutes from the 7/24/08 meeting.  Ray seconded the motion all were in favor to accept the minutes as written.

2.  Sewer expansion – There will be a meeting on August 26th where the Sewer Implementation Committee will make a presentation to all the town boards.  There will be two more informational meetings for the entire town on September 9th and October 10th.

3.  Ramp Reconstruction – Dick expects to have the drawing for the North Ramp from Vine Associates by next week.  Fishing & Boating will address the issues raised by Scott Ricker on the South Ramp when they have sufficient funds.  We discussed the letter we received from Scott Ricker and the two “deficiencies” he brought to our attention.

4.  Local Permitting – The Selectmen want to get the LPP on their agenda as soon as they are back to their regular weekly meetings.  Weekly meetings start back up in September.

5.  Lake Safety/Noise issues – Once again we all need to think about what by-laws we want to address.  We will come back and look at this more after we do the boat and dock count.  Everyone should come prepared with their thoughts about these issues.

6.  Buoys – Steve pulled a post out of the water over by the South Culvert.  This post was right in the way of boat traffic.  Steve had put a buoy on it to mark it until he was able to go in and remove the post.  We need to get a new buoy into North Pond.  The residents are requesting that the fourth buoy that used to be there be replaced.  They were very pleased that Steve and Bill repaired and replaced the others for them a couple of weeks ago.

7.  The annual LAPA-West Conference is coming up if anyone is interested in attending.  Steve Schmidt is planning to attend from CRC.

8.  The Annual Town Summer Picnic is Friday, September 12th.  We are all invited to share in the feast.

9.  Scotty made a motion to adjourn.  Sue seconded.  All in favor.

10.  Our next meeting will be held on August 28, 2008.

11.  Our meeting was adjourned at 7:35PM.

Respectfully submitted,
