1. Chris made a motion to accept the minutes from the 5/08/08 meeting. Norm seconded the motion all were in favor to accept the minutes as written.
2. Aquatic Control went out on Tuesday and checked for weeds with their camera. They only found a couple of large areas that they feel need treatment. One area is on South Pond and the other is on Middle. Ray will go out on Monday and check the other areas that some of the residents have put in complaints about. Jerry mentioned that at the last CRC meeting people were complaining about the many shells that they are seeing this year. He was wondering if we know of any treatment for them?
3. The person who picks up the trash, Frank, now has a trailer and he emptied the trash on Saturday. He will once again be emptying the trash on a regular basis.
4. Jerry brought it to our attention that all notification to the farmers should be coming officially from the town. They should not be getting notified like the rest of the town via the sheets of paper we post around the lakes.
5. Ray requested help posting the signs around the lake. Jerry took all of North Pond and the CT side of South Pond (Griffin Rd.). Chris took the Southwick side of South Pond. Tom took Berkshire Ave. Norm took Berkshire’s side streets. Bill took Forest and Two States. Ray and Sue will close both ramps the night before they treat and post the signs there.
6. Lake Cleanup Day – Ray will get the town boat and meet everyone at the North Ramp.
7. Norm made a motion to adjourn. Sue seconded. All were in favor.
8. Our next meeting will be held on June 12, 2008.
9. Our meeting was adjourned at 7:22PM.
