Minutes September 24, 2007

The Commission met at 1pm and worked for 2 ½ hours reviewing, the prospective resource list developed with Chris Skelly and from this list began to develop a list to be used in the survey project to be undertaken by F & H. It was found that barns needed to be added. Cross-referencing was done with the existing inventory filed with MHC as well as the partial one begun 15 years ago. It was found that on site visits would be needed. Todd will try to fit them in before the next meeting on October 15. Another session or two will be needed in order to complete the list.

Karen and Barbara will meet in Boston on October 4 with MHC and Fitzgerald & Halliday. This is the start-up meeting, which MHC requested as part of the Survey and Planning Grant regulations.

Barbara and Karen will attend the Economic Commission hearing on October 1 at 7pm regarding the College Highway construction project and the Rail Trail Projects both Phase 1 and Phase 2.

The New Haven/ Northampton Canal Committee will meet on October 9 at 10am at the Westfield Athenaeum.
