8. Telecom
Monopole at the Town Transfer Station: The Commission reviewed the April 6
letter MHC sent to the Planning Board. The Planning Board statements such as
“override” and “mismanagement at the local level” misrepresented the Historical
Commission. The Commission in its actions was responding to the statements in
the MHC communications to EBI Consultants whereby EBI was asked to “Please seek
the comments of the Southwick Historical Commission”. The Historical Commission’s comments were
given to EBI with copies submitted to MHC. The Historical Commission is charged
with identifying and protecting the historic resources of Southwick.
