The Water Division, overseen by a Board of Water Commissioners, ensures that Southwick water users have an ample quantity of clean, pure, and taste-free drinking water. The following is a list of day to day activities of the Water Division:
A. Operation and inspection of the Town Well and Pump Stations.
B. Answering service calls.
C. Taking final meter readings.
D. Repairing Water Main breaks or leaks.
E. Installing new house services and meters.
F. Observing installation of Water Mains, hydrants, etc. in all new sub-divisions.
G. Clearing hydrants in the winter.
H. Taking DEP required water samples.
I. Helping with snowplowing during winter months.
