COA Monthly Meeting
May 13, 2008
MEETING CALLED TO ORDER 1:00pm
Presiding: Mary Alice Martin
Present: Lorraine Lawrence, Mary Alice Martin, Joan Plancon, Roy Benson, Herb Pace, Associate member Mary Jane Connolly, and Director Jeanne Margarites.
Absent: Harriet Fischer - vacation, Ed Nitsch - working voting.
Minutes: Reviewed and accepted
Bills: Reviewed and signed
Old Business:
• Elder Law Meeting - attorney Gina Barry spoke for 2 hours, full house, excellent program.
• Volunteer Luncheon - at Tuckers at 12:00pm. Mary Jane made center pieces for each table. Person with birth date closest to 5/15 gets the center piece.
• Health Fair - 6/9/08 all set per last month's minutes.
• Cookbook - agreed we would charge $10.00. Andrea has put together a great book.
• WMACA meeting 5/20/08 - need sign up by 5/13/08
• Picnic - 6/25/08 12:30pm - Council needs to be there by 11:00am to start cooking.
New Business:
• FY2008-2009 - New Officers nominated - Chairman - Lorraine Lawrence, Vice Chairman Mary Alice Martin, and Secretary - Joan Plancon. Vote will be at June meeting
• Nancy Cortesi's raise - will be discussed with Nancy 5/20/08 at 1:00pm
