This Citizen Advisory Committee will provide guidance and make recommendations to the Board of Selectmen on the use of community development block grant funds.
The Committee Mission Statement would encompass:
• Organize Committee with Chairman and Vice-Chairman
• Meet 6-8 times a year to identify community or neighborhood problems that could be resolved with grants/loans from state/federal governments.
• Solicit feedback from Town boards, departments and citizens
• Ensure that proposed programs/activities address community need
• Make recommendation to the Board of Selectmen on what priorities to address when future grant applications are developed.
