There have been many rumors and queries about a sticker fee for boats launched on Congamond. While there is a sticker required for boats resident (moored) on Congamond, please be advised that there is no such “boat sticker” fee for daily launches at the boat ramps. The original daily launch fee of $4.00 per boat was initiated in 1991 when management of the two state-owned boat ramps was turned over to the Town of Southwick Lake Management Committee. The fee was raised in 1995 to the current fee of $5.00 per boat. All monies collected go into
a Lake Fund that can only be used on the ramp facilities for facilities maintenance, portable toilets, lighting, phones and ramp staff.
