The center has once again received word that the scammers are still preying on elderly individuals. If you receive a phone call advising you one of your children or grandchildren has gotten into trouble double check with someone first. The scammers are scaring people into sending money to help your loved ones stay out of trouble. Ninety nine percent of the time this is a scam. Call the police department and report the phone call as soon as it happens to you.
