The library's new patron advisory will feature Joan Didion, the author of The Year of Magical Thinking, during April. This Read-Alikes Program was begun in July of 2007, and selects one author per month directing patrons to additional authors who write in the same manner as the featured writer on similar topics.
Patrons may help themselves to the program's informational sheets located at the OPAC (Patron Access Computers) desk, and in the "New Book" area. A binder containing a collection of all of the informational sheets on the featured writers is also available at the OPAC desk for patron perusal.
