The Special Town Meeting was called to order by the Moderator, James Putnam at 6:32 PM on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 Southwick Tolland Regional High School, Feedings Hills Road, in the Auditorium, with approximately 189 registered voters in attendance.

ARTICLE 1. The Town of Southwick voted to appropriate and transfer from available funds the sum of $22,500.00 for the following salary accounts

FY08 Police Full-Time $22,500.00

ARTICLE 2. The Town of Southwick voted to appropriate and transfer from available funds the sum of $220,000.00 for the following operations accounts

Snow/Ice Removal $220,000.00

ARTICLE 3. The Town of Southwick voted to appropriate some amount, to pay the costs of engineering, repairing and rehabilitating the Town Hall heating system, including the payment of all costs incidental and related thereto; to determine whether this amount should be raised by taxation, by transfer from available funds, by borrowing or otherwise, or take any other action relative thereto.

A Motion was made and seconded to dissolve the Special Town Meeting at 6:44PM.
